The Agoudal site, in the Moroccan Middle Atlas, is known to have yielded meteorites in the 1930s, following chance discoveries by local shepherds. The present finds date from the 2000s.
The majority of the collected material is in the form of irregularly shaped shell fragments, 2 to 5 cm in size. Most exhibit a thin weathering crust. Some smaller, shell-shaped fragments (approximately cm in size) are rounded and exhibit a well-developed fusion crust.
